I'm a 21 year old mum to Leo Loki and wife to Bear. I'm a breastfeeding, homebirthing, bedsharing, intactivist, crunchy mama. We (sort of) live in Portland, OR, but also spend some of our time in Nanaimo, BC. We are an attached family navigating a chaotic lifestyle, and we're finding so much peace and love in doing so.

  9. Today is international day of the midwife! As someone who loves midwives, and was blessed enough to have the BEST at my birth, I love to share my experience with people! My midwives were loving, gentle, respectful, confident, and I&#8217;m even lucky enough that one of them is my own mama! How absolutely perfect to have my own beautiful mother cheer me on as I brought my beautiful baby into the world. A homebirth with a midwife is unlike anything else, so I suggest to everyone&#8230;consider birthing with a midwife! :)
